Fat Burning

If you can maintain the following for 3 months, I am sure you will lose the weight you want to.

Two/three times a week of continuous CV training at a hard level for 30 minutes. Go for a ‘7 / 8 out of 10’ effort level for 30 minutes. In addition, complete two times a week of Interval training. The interval session involves a 5 minute warm up, followed by 1 minute of very hard cycling or running, alternating with 1 minute of very easy cycling or walking. Aim for a ‘9.5 out of 10’ on the hard sections and ‘4 out of 10’ on the easy sections.

1. For weight loss, Cardiovascular (CV) training is your priority, as this burns calories. 2. Contrary to popular gym myth, taking it easy is not the solution. Instead you should work hard each workout. 3. The physiology research suggests for the average person needs to work hard for 30 minutes 4-6 times a week for significant weight loss. 4. The interval workout allows you to work more intensely in less time. 5. Research shows that including interval workouts twice a week increase weight loss from training programmes.
