Energy Boosters

Feeling a bit sluggish on a Monday? Maybe your energy levels are generally not as good as they should be?

Here are some natural and healthy ways to help you feel on top form.

1.Drink plenty of water . Drinking more water is probably the easiest way to feel refreshed. Any sluggishness can be helped by making sure you are fully hydrated.
2.Drink Green tea . Green tea is low in caffeine and high in antioxidants - nutrients which have important health benefits. It will help you feel refreshed like a cup of tea of coffee but does not have any of the negative side effects
3.Eat little and often . Do not wait to get hungry and then eat junk food or stuff yourself with a huge meal, as you will most likely feel sluggish afterwards. Instead, plan to eat small and healthy meals and snacks throughout the day
4.Eat slow energy release meals . Eating sugary snacks or refined carbohydrates may kick start your energy levels but they wont help you feel good all day long. Choosing whole-grain carbohydrates, fruits, vegetables and combining these with protein foods such as chicken, fish, cottage cheese or meat will guarantee your meals have a long lasting energy value.
5.Take a massage . Massage will release any tension and help with revitalising your energy levels.
